College life can be pretty extreme. From intense all-nighter study sessions, and maybe a demanding part-time job, to intense fun with endless events and activities to choose from, there’s a lot to keep up with as a college student. We believe that maintaining a balanced life and positively handling stress are key during these crucial years of self-exploration and growth in order to lead a successful life and career.
That’s why we created the Lynne Goldberg Balance for Success Scholarship. We want to inspire new college students to reflect on their habits and encourage them to develop a healthy lifestyle. This scholarship is awarded annually to one student, the writer of the best essay.


About Lynne Goldberg

Lynne is a certified meditation coach, author of the book Get Balanced. Get Blissed. and founder of a renowned mindfulness program that teaches people how to meditate featured in many media outlets such as Forbes and Instyle, and chosen by Delta Airlines and Air Canada for their in-flight meditations. The program is also used in many schools to teach mindfulness.

Eligibility requirements:

To be eligible to apply for the Lynne Goldberg Balance for Success Scholarship, you must be a first year student currently enrolled full-time at an accredited higher education institution.

Scholarship Awarded: July 31

How to Apply:

Submit a 250-word essay explaining how you are managing stress and competing priorities, like classes, studying, friends, sports, work, etc. to maintain a healthy balance, and how the $500 award would help you maintain balance to continue your success in college and beyond.

The scholarship recipient will receive the scholarship award approximately 30 days after the deadline. Only the winner will be contacted.
